Infinera PPC

Infinera is a large optical transmission equipment manufacturer for large telecommunications companies.

The ask was to target a very specific niche (broadband hardware buyers in India), focusing on a webinar a few weeks out. They were worried about if they would be able to attract such a specific audience that isn’t easily found in marketing targeting.

Our Strategy

Our plan was to roll out a hyper-targeted LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google Display campaign with a CTA to enroll in the webinar. For LinkedIn, we searched for the best groups, job titles and job industries to make sure we weren’t wasting any time looking for the correct audience. Similarly, on Twitter we searched for the best Twitter Handles and hashtags that would also position us in front of the best possible audience.

The Results

Hoping for 100 signups, we were able to generate over 400 signups for the webinar in 2 weeks. The signups came so quickly that we had to prematurely pause our marketing. Since this success the client has come back to us with multiple other opportunities to reach niche audiences for their sales and training events.
