Patrick's primary goal as DMi Partners' CEO is to maximize growth: in profitability for clients, in performance for employees and contractors, and in DMi Partners' top and bottom-line.
After graduating cum laude from Harvard University, Patrick worked for Joseph P. Kennedy II's Citizens Energy Corporation where he participated in the start-up of two healthcare ventures. Shortly after returning to Philadelphia, Patrick founded DMi Partners with Adam Weil and his college roommate, James Delaney.
Patrick weaves the Ignatius principle of community service into both his daily life and DMi Partners' culture. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School and PHMC subsidiary, The Bridge. He is also a lifelong volunteer at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and annually organizes DMi Partners' participation in the Martin Luther King Day of Service.
Patrick lives in Center City, Philadelphia, with his wife, Michele, and their five children.
When James Delaney wrote his first resume as a senior at Harvard University, the objective read: "To be part of a developing company that engages in e-commerce, e-communications, and e-business software and services." Unlike most college seniors, not only did he just become part of a company, he became a founding partner of DMi Partners.
As Chief Operations Officer, James is primarily responsible for network administration, finance, accounting, and software development. Before teaming up with Patrick and Adam to form DMi Partners, James worked with J.G. Wentworth, an advanced funding company located outside Philadelphia.
A former national rowing champion, James relaxes by hitting the gym or playing basketball. He and his wife, Erica, live in Center City, Philadelphia with their two children, Viviene and Cormac.
As Executive Vice President of Education Marketing, Brian oversees marketing for the college and university segment of DMi Partners. His strong work ethic combined with his personal motto, "the day is not done until all have had fun" embodies the "work hard, play hard" spirit of DMi Partners.
Brian McKenna understands that the ability to effectively communicate is crucial in his position. He attributes his leadership skills to his years spent working as a counselor at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and from his teammates on the rowing teams at St. Joseph's Prep and Princeton University.
Brian currently lives in Queen Village, Philadelphia with his wife, Kate. When he is not generating leads for our school partners, he spends his time playing flag football, pick-up basketball, and watching the Phillies.
Amy Smerdzinski is responsible for managing DMi's CPA Café. As Network Manager, she works closely with our Client Reps and Affiliate Managers to execute the goals and budgets for our campaigns. She has been a part of the DMi team for over 3 years. Her favorite thing about coming to work each day is that every client needs something different, and she enjoys the challenges and creativity of finding the right solution for each individual campaign.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Amy decided to go south for college and chose Wake Forest University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Communications while also playing four years of varsity soccer. After North Carolina, she continued south to Orlando, Florida for a marketing internship with Fox Sports. Missing the cold and the snow (Yes...she loves snow!) she headed back up north and landed in Philly.
Amy spends her free time coaching youth soccer in the area and still shows off her skills from time to time on the DMi intramural soccer team.
As Director of Client Services, Kevin has devoted his time to managing and optimizing marketing campaigns for DMi Partners' larger agency accounts, including PwC, Mitchell & Ness, J.G. Wentworth, Teleflora, Loan Value Group, Gerber Life Insurance, and Broadview Networks. He specializes in reporting and analytics, search engine marketing, media buying, email marketing, and digital media/sales funnel optimization. He is also responsible for finding new opportunities for growth and expansion.
After earning his B.S. in Psychology from Harvard in the Spring of 2006, Kevin returned to Philadelphia to start his career in online marketing at DMi Partners. He currently resides in the southwest Philadelphia neighborhood affectionately known as "The Devil's Pocket" with his wife Maria. Kevin is a regular contender for the DMi Partners' Ping Pong Tournament Trophy and is a star player of the company soccer team. He spends his free time running, cooking, and stressing about Philly sports.
Michael Kelch oversees the daily running of the accounting and finance team. Michael joined us in February of 2010 as a Junior Accountant, and has worked his way up through the department to become the go to individual for all matters accounting, and the team's Excel guru. He loves the black and white of numbers and enjoys crafting reports across different divisions of DMi, in an effort to more quickly extrapolate patterns and trends for us to monetize.
Born and bred in Northeast Philadelphia, Michael attended Holy Family University, where he was named one of the PICPA's outstanding seniors in 2009. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting and has since gone on to complete the CPA examination.
When he's not crunching numbers or building spreadsheets, Michael spends his free time traveling the world and learning to cook new things. He is also a member of the DMi intramural soccer team and is working to improve his golf game (down to a 25 handicap)! He now lives in Philadelphia's Roxborough neighborhood with his wife, Melissa and their adorably annoying dog - a doxiepin named Luna.
As Director of Business Development, Beth oversees day-to-day operations of the sales department, leading her team and cultivating new customer relationships. She is responsible for developing and executing on annual sales quotas, as well as forecasting volume and profit for both new and existing products. Since taking on this role in 2012, Beth and her team have cultivated unprecedented growth in the number of clients on DMi's roster as well as increased revenue year after year.
Beth graduated from The University of Central Florida where she was a member of the Division 1 soccer program. Previous to joining DMi, Beth, Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson, teamed up to put butts in the seats through a superior product and even better sales team at the Orlando Magic.
Beth spends her free time reliving her glory days playing in co-ed sports leagues (futbol and football) and volunteering with youth teams. When she takes off her spikes, you can find her frequenting Philadelphia's best establishments, local parks, music venues and speeding down the city's bike lanes. Beth currently lives in South Philly with Maurice, her dog trapped in a cat's body.
David Lachowicz is an award winning Creative Director from the Great Northeast that specializes in identity, brand development and user experience. He has spent the past eight years honing his craft in both branding and interactive platforms which span across an array of markets ranging from B2B to gaming and hospitality. He and his team are responsible for providing all of DMi's creative & front-end development, maintaining superior quality and providing a constant enhancement to our imaginative scope.
David lives in Norristown with his longtime girlfreind, Amanda, and their puppy, Ashton (a girl, not a boy, and named for the cigar, not the Actor). His love of cigars, craft beer and scotch is trumped only by his passion for Philly sports. When he's not getting his heart broken by the Phillies, you can find him looking for innovative ways to implement strategic, conceptual creative that hits client objectives while maintaining a seamless user experience.
Peter W. Hilton-Kingdon oversees all of DMi Partners legal matters. He handles commercial disputes, governmental/regulatory compliance, corporate and employee matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, and risk management.
Peter has been General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer since July 2009. Before joining DMi, Peter was an Assistant General Counsel overseeing litigation at American Financial Realty Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment company.
Prior to working at American Financial, Peter was an attorney in the Washington, D.C. office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, LLP (predecessor to WilmerHale).
Peter is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law at PennState and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Maryland. He also a member of the Board of Directors for the Friends Child Care Center serving as the Treasurer plus is a member of the host committee for the Support Center for Child Advocates.
Peter spends his free time with his family and enjoys traveling, reading, fly-fishing and photography. He lives in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia with his wife, Kathy E. Ochroch, their son Alexander and their dog Coleman.
Brianna Kelly, Vendor Relations Manager, oversees DMi Partners phone-based education marketing. Through her day-to-day call center management, she ensures script adherence and quality assurance, helping to deliver our clients higher quality leads. Brianna also focuses on building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with DMi Partners vendors.
Brianna graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Elementary Education. While on the Florida Atlantic swim team, Brianna earned three Hardest Worker Awards, was named MVP, and acted as Team Captain. Her competitive swimming cultivated the work ethic, dedication, and motivation that she employs every day at DMi Partners.
Originally from Glassboro, NJ, Brianna now lives in Delray Beach, Fla. and has been a part of DMi Partners Boca Raton team since 2008.
Zach is responsible for establishing and growing new business relationships for DMi Partners. He works closely with clients, developing dynamic marketing strategies to identify valuable prospective consumers and connect them with clients' brands. He is dedicated to transparency, honesty, and the establishment of mutually beneficial business relationships.
Prior to joining DMi Partners, Zach held the Advertising Manager position at The Temple News. He attended Temple University and graduated with a B.S. in Advertising and Account Management, Minor in Business Administration.
Zach prides himself as an intramural kickball & soccer aficionado. In his free time he enjoys watching the Phillies, eating, drinking, and being merry. He is known around the office for his insatiable desire to get laughs and his "quantity over quality" approach to joke telling. Originally from Allentown, he now lives in the Philadelphia Art Museum area with his fiance, Jess.
Travis Laborde, Lead Developer, is responsible for guiding DMi Partners software development efforts. As mentor to the development team, he helps to shape and implement the technology that keeps the company running smoothly and efficiently.
Prior to joining DMi Partners, Travis was Director of IT at J.G. Wentworth. It was there that he met and made a lasting impression on James Delaney, founder of DMi Partners. James recruited Travis to lead the company's growing team of developers in 2009.
Travis' expertise has earned him much notoriety in the software development community. He is often a top ranked speaker at developer events, is leader of the PhillyNJ.Net user group, and regularly helps to organize Philly Code Camp events.
Travis enjoys programming, playing computer games, and spending time with his family. He currently lives in Mickleton, NJ with his wife, Jessica, and two sons, Carter and Parker.
Ginger Martinez is responsible for developing and maintaining DMi Partners' network of premium lead generation publishers. As our Media/Marketing Manager, Ginger seeks out the best publishers to deliver our advertisers high quality traffic on a CPL basis through co-registration, email, search, social media, mobile, and display advertising.
After graduating from Instituto Universitario Rodolfo Loero A. in Venezuela with a B.S. in Marketing and Advertising, Ginger moved to the US to achieve the American dream. When she joined DMi Partners, she brought with her years of experience in relationship management, strategic sales, media planning, and team building.
Ginger spends her free time shopping and hitting the gym. She is the proud mother of two children, Jorge and Ginger, whom she lives with in Parkland, Fla. Originally from Maracay, Venezuela, Ginger is fluent in both English and Spanish.
