In other words, it’s not going to hit click tracking like iOS 15 compromised open tracking. If you hear people suggesting that it’s going to strip all tracking parameters from click links, you can ignore them – our analysis of beta tests to date is that UTM parameters, in particular, do not appear to be affected, nor does tracking in Google Analytics.

Does that mean you should ignore this and stop monitoring future iOS updates? Not at all – we recommend peppering your email provider and/or marketing partners with questions about the specifics of your campaigns and keeping an eye on Apple for more rollouts than could change the tracking landscape.
