What do you do at DMi?As the Affiliate Team's Associate Director of Client Strategy, I am tasked with creating & maintaining effective strategic deliverables for our team of Account Managers to leverage as they showcase recommendations to clients. Additionally, I manage the Affiliate programs for several enterprise level clients & a team of 7 kick ass account managers❤️
What do your children tell people you do?My kids (ages 5 & 4 at the time) brought home a Mother's Day questionnaire from school once, on which they listed my job as, "talking to people" & "hitting her computer"
What do you do when you are not DMi’ing?Hanging out with my husband and kiddos, usually eating good food or going on adventures outside
Go-to-karaoke songMulan, I Will Make a Man Out of You .... I can't explain it, I just love it.
What do you think makes DMi special?DMi is the only team I've worked with who genuinely cares about one another. Everyone says that but DMi truly lives it. No matter what everyone has on their to-do list, they will drop it to help you. The worst days still feel manageable because we're all trying to win as a team.
We know about 'DMi Cares', but what is something you care about?I am a Make-A-Wish child and following my wish being granted in 2000, I've been passionate about paying that joy forward and helping others. Since having children, my free time is non-existent so lately I've been trying to find fun projects that the kids can be involved in but also give back in some way. We've donated some of their toys & books to a local women's shelter, we bring food to our elderly neighbor and spend some time with her. I think ultimately, I care about my kids caring about others. I want to raise kind humans.
What's something—big or small—that you’re really good at?I think my awful mom jokes and gift of gab are my strongest skills that allow me to create conversations and build trust. My husband hates it, but I chat with people at the grocery store, out on a walk, and school pick up. These skills translate well in my role here at DMi!
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant what would it be?Reading people's minds, 100%! Clients, my infant, my mother-in-law who doesn't speak much english. Knowing their thoughts would be so interesting and helpful.
