Our Hiring

We have taken extensive measures to ensure our hiring practices are inclusionary and equitable. We take steps to decrease gendered language in job descriptions. We use standardized interview process and assessment metrics to avoid gut and cultural fit decisions. We are looking for candidates who meet or exceed expectations and ones we believe will add value to our culture.

Our D&I Journey

Diversity Equity and Inclusion has always been a focus at DMi Partners. DMi Partners started as a small business and has grown to a strong, sustainable company with inclusive culture at its core. DMi Partners’ leadership was accustomed to making changes internally, working from the inside out and empowering employees to take on new challenges professionally. However, with DEI, external help was needed. To understand where we are today, take a look at the history of gaining that assistance in building a DEI foundation within the culture of DMi Partners.”

2019

During 2019 the leadership team determined that internal efforts made in the name of DEI were not enough and wanted to do more.

2020

The leadership team knew this would require external assistance. So, leadership contracted consulting agency that. helped DMi to assess, train and build a more inclusive and equitable foundation.

2021

In efforts to continue to move the needle, DMi hired its first Talent Acquisition and Diversity and Inclusion Manager. Through their leadership, equitable hiring practices and tools were implemented. This allowed the organization to grow in size and diversity and enhance the already inclusive community.

2022

We continue to build from our foundation. Our company has doubled in size, and the diversity of our company has tripled. We have an employee-led D&I council that plans and executes programming to build awareness. And DEI is woven into the fabric of our workplace culture.
