What do you think makes DMi special?

I think that a lot of companies talk about their values but DMi lives them. The company values are not just a slogan or catchphrase but a guiding force. So, when a new commitment is made that relates to those core values (such as a commitment to Diversity and Inclusion) it’s not just worded its actions. I think that makes DMi unique.

How would you describe your job to a bunch of five-year-olds?

I notoriously talk to children like they are adults, but I would say my job is to make sure that everyone at my workplace feels like they belong and can grow. My job is also to add more teammates that have different experiences so we can be creative and successful.

I hear about 'DMi Cares', what is something you care about?

I really care about education and access to education. Last year I started virtually mentoring rising juniors and seniors that were looking to go to college and it has been great to be of assistance in that way especially during this time. When I say education, though, I don’t just mean school, I care about people’s access to knowledge and understanding of not only their worldview but that of others.

DMi Partners is 'proud to win the right way, right now, as a team'- what’s one thing you're are proud of at DMi?

While 2020 was a wake-up call for many corporations, I am proud that DMi started its commitment to diversity and inclusion journey before 2020. Injustice and inequity didn’t start in 2020. I am proud that DMi Partners’ commitment was not a jump on the bandwagon but came from a sincere place.

What's something—big or small—that you're really bad at?

Video games. I have no eye thumb coordination.

What's something—big or small—that you're really good at?

Conflict resolution. Growing up at one point my family and I thought I might become a Marriage and Family Therapist.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?

I would want to be a Polyglot
