Black Friday has come and gone (thank goodness) and in our opinion it is now the right time to decorate your home, turn on some holiday music and watch some holiday movies. We asked the team what their favorite holiday movies are and we got the following responses. If you‘ve been following along you know we like to tie our posts back to what we do best so we found a quote from each of these movies that we can (loosely) relate to digital marketing. With our any further adieu here is our top five list!

DMi Tip: Just because it is the newest tactic that is getting a lot of buzz doesn’t mean that it is going to the best for your campaign. Make sure your marketing partner develops a dedicated strategy to meet your goals.

DMi Tip: When you are selecting a new marketing partner many will tell you what you want to hear. Treat the selection process the same way you would hire a new employee. Ask for references from past and current clients.
Louis Winthorpe III: Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high. Fear? That’s the other guy’s problem. Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the absolute carnage you are about to witness. Super Bowl, World Series – they don’t know what pressure is. In this building, it’s either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners. One minute you’re up half a million in soybeans and the next, boom, your kids don’t go to college and they’ve repossessed your Bentley. Are you with me?
DMi Tip: Ok. Maybe we don’t take it this far, but you do want a partner that will fight for you and share risk with you. Winning together is a great feeling.

DMi Tip: Analytics are critical. Understand your key performance indicators (KPIs) and have your agency apply them to your campaigns so you get the data from them you can use internally to report on.
