It’s our favorite time of the year and nothing makes us feel more festive than a good celebration. Thanksgiving, Ugly Sweater Parties, Holiday Work Soirees (ours was on Friday!), Pollyannas – any and all Christmahanakwanzika traditions are reason enough to kick up our heels and get in the holiday spirit. This year, however, we’re excited to celebrate something entirely unrelated to the holidays. We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been honored with four marketing awards from some of our favorite organizations. And who better to celebrate with than the people that made it all possible!
The 2016 Davey Awards were announced and we are happy to report we’re bringing three silver medals back to Philadelphia. The Davey Awards celebrate agencies that, as they put it, “derive their strength from big ideas rather than stratospheric budgets”. The websites for both Etain Energy and AIRC were selected as winners, as well as a branded social campaign we crafted for Mitchell & Ness.
If that wasn’t enough, we were also humbled to receive a W3 award for that same Mitchell & Ness campaign. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos, and marketing programs. A panel of judges from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts oversee the competition and select the winners. We were thrilled to take home a silver in the Social Content & Marketing-Sports category. Two awards for one campaign, not too shabby.
We’re not trying to toot our own horn too loudly, but we’re proud of the work we do here at DMi and proud of what we’ve accomplished for our partners. Here’s our key takeaway from all this fanfare: when our partners win, we win. We look forward to many more innovative campaigns – and more awards – in 2017!
