CMO Adam Weil Participates in Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon 8.2.08
BOCA RATON, FL – September 2, 2008 – On Labor Day 2008, DMi Partners’ Adam Weil joined celebrities and thousands of business and community leaders from around the country on the 21 ½-hour MDA Telethon by presenting a $3,350 check live from the Palm Beach County Convention Center. DMi, a full-service interactive marketing and e-business management firm, hopes their pledge will sponsor treatments for countless children suffering from neuromuscular diseases.
The 43rd annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon was broadcast from the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, with live segments broadcast from New York and Chicago. Telethon stations across the country, like The CW West Palm, also contributed live segments for local viewers.
Adam Weil, Chief Marketing Officer of DMi Partners, had this to say about his participation at the Labor Day event, “The MDA brought in nearly seventy million dollars this year; it’s exciting to be even a small part of such a huge humanitarian effort. We hope that our contributions to the MDA this year advocate the involvement of our employees, clients and friends to similar life-saving endeavors.”
